Episode 11: We’re not changing – We’re Expanding! Vida Plena Weekly Update

Every week, we love bringing you an inside look at the transformation happening at Centro Médico Vida Plena — but this week, Jeff took a moment to step back and answer a question many people have asked:

“Are you changing the ministry?”

The answer is simple: No. We’re expanding it.

For years, God Said Go Missions has traveled into more than a dozen villages across Guatemala, bringing free medical care to families living in extreme poverty. That work remains the heart of our ministry — and it’s not going anywhere.

But Centro Médico Vida Plena is a strategic step that will allow us to help even more people, even more consistently, for years to come.

This new medical center, located in the largest city of the district we serve, will offer discounted, high-quality care through:

  • Three full-time doctors

  • A dedicated nursing team

  • A fully stocked pharmacy

  • A state-of-the-art laboratory

  • Clean, modern facilities

And here’s why this matters so much:

The proceeds from this center will help fund our free village clinics.

Instead of relying solely on donations, this project will help build long-term sustainability — enabling us to reach more villages, support more pastors, and serve more families in desperate need.

This Week’s Construction Progress

The team has been moving quickly, and several major updates are now in place:

  • The floors are almost finished

  • New ceilings are being installed

  • A/C units are going up

  • Pharmacy walls are being smoothed and prepped

  • Our security camera system has arrived

  • A new pump is being installed (thanks to a generous friend!)

  • The waiting area tile and office A/C are in place

Every improvement takes us one step closer to opening our doors — and one step closer to serving thousands of families in Escuintla.

A Vision Much Bigger Than One Building

This center is just the beginning.

Our prayer is that Vida Plena becomes the model for future centers across Guatemala — and one day throughout Latin America. Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua… even into South America. The need is great, and we are moving forward in faith.

We Still Need Help to Finish

We are down to the final $50,000 needed to complete this center and begin serving patients.

If God prompts your heart to give, you can learn more or donate with the button below the video.

Together, we’re building more than a medical center — we’re building a legacy of hope.

❤️ Help us finish strong.
Your gift will help fund the final stages of construction and open the doors to a brighter, healthier future for families in need.
