Joanna Tschiffely is a retired Registered Nurse and faithful servant who has answered the call to missions later in life—proof that God can use anyone, at any stage, to bring hope and healing to the world.
After serving on short-term medical mission trips with God Said Go Missions in 2024 and 2025, Joanna’s heart was deeply moved by the incredible needs—and the powerful impact of the Gospel—among children and families living in extreme poverty in rural Guatemala.

From Healing Hands to Healing Hearts
Joanna’s decades of nursing experience now serve a higher purpose: pointing others to the Great Physician. During her time in village clinics, she helped deliver compassionate care, distribute life-saving medications, and pray with patients.
But she didn’t stop there.
Her New Mission: Advocate and Ambassador
Today, Joanna serves as a God Said Go Missions’ Ambassador, a role that empowers her to share the ministry’s story with churches, individuals, and communities across the U.S. She raises awareness, encourages others to serve, and helps generate vital funding to keep the mission moving forward.
Her calling is clear:
To spread the word, rally support, and inspire others to join in what God is doing through GSG.
Whether speaking to a church, hosting a fundraiser, or sharing GSG’s stories online, Joanna is building bridges between generous hearts at home and vulnerable families in Guatemala who need hope the most.
