Planting Seeds, Trusting God for the Harvest

“Your job is to plant the seed not change their heart. Don’t get your role and God’s role mixed up.”
Northern Hills Baptist Church

This powerful reminder speaks directly to the heart of missions. Our calling is not to force transformation but to plant seeds faithfully and consistently. We are called to obedience, not outcomes. It is God who stirs hearts, brings growth, and produces lasting fruit.

At God Said Go Missions, this truth guides everything we do. Week after week, our team travels long distances into remote villages—sometimes over rough roads and through challenging conditions—because we believe every act of service plants a seed. Seeds of hope. Seeds of healing. Seeds of God’s Word.

Often, we see physical improvements as villagers regain health, children thrive, and families find relief through medical care, food, and education. Yet the deeper spiritual impact is not always visible. That’s where faith and humility come in. We trust that through every clinic, every meal shared, and every prayer lifted, God is working in ways unseen—watering seeds that will one day flourish in His timing.

Our role is simple yet profound: to show up, to love, to serve, and to obey. His role is far greater—to change hearts for eternity.

So let us remain faithful in the planting, confident that each seed is part of His eternal harvest. Every act of obedience matters. Every seed sown has eternal purpose. And while we may never see the full results this side of heaven, we can rest knowing that God is at work, bringing forth fruit that will last forever.
