On April 13, 2026, something we have prayed for, worked toward, and believed in for so long finally became a reality.
Centro Médico Vida Plena is officially open.
Not with a grand stage or a ribbon-cutting ceremony—those will come later—but with something far more meaningful:
Open doors. Real patients. Lives already being touched.
A Phased Beginning with Purpose
We’ve launched in what we’re calling a phased soft opening, allowing us to begin serving the community of Escuintla right away while continuing to build toward the full vision.
Right now, our clinic is up and running with an incredible team:

From the very first days, patients have been walking through our doors—receiving not only quality medical care, but also compassion, dignity, and hope.
This is exactly why Vida Plena exists.
The Pharmacy Is Open—and Growing Daily
Alongside the clinic, we’ve also opened our on-site pharmacy.
While we started with a modest supply of medications, we are adding inventory every single day, expanding our ability to meet the real needs of the community. For many families, access to affordable medication is just as critical as seeing a doctor—and now, that need is being met in one place.
Next Step: Opening the Laboratory
The next major milestone is just around the corner:
Opening the laboratory.
This is a crucial piece of the vision—allowing us to provide on-site testing, faster diagnoses, and more complete care for every patient who walks through our doors.
We are currently working to raise the remaining funds needed for:
- Laboratory equipment
- Setup costs
- Salary for a trained lab technician
Our goal is to have the lab fully operational in June 2026.
When that happens, Centro Médico Vida Plena will move from a strong beginning… to a fully equipped, life-changing medical center.
Looking Ahead: The Grand Opening
Once every department is fully functioning—the clinic, pharmacy, and laboratory—we will celebrate with an official Grand Opening.
But the truth is…
