Grateful for You: A Thanksgiving Message From God Said Go Missions
Every November, something special happens. Families gather, tables fill, and inboxes flood with perfectly-timed Thanksgiving notes — many of them heartfelt, some of them cleverly disguised fundraising appeals.
Today’s message is neither.
This is simply a moment to pause, breathe, and say a sincere thank you.
Why We’re Thankful This Year
As we look back on 2025, we’re overwhelmed by what God has done through the faithfulness of people like you. This year, more than 6,500 patients received medical care, dozens of villages were visited each month, and children in deep poverty experienced the love of Jesus in ways that will stay with them for a lifetime.
Your prayers, your encouragement, your compassion — these are the unseen threads God uses to weave hope into the lives of families who have almost nothing.
A Few Things We’re Thankful for Today
In the spirit of the season, here’s our official GSG Thanksgiving list:
You — the heart of this ministry.
People who believe that poverty doesn’t get the last word.
Stretchy pants — because grace abounds on Thanksgiving.
The privilege of serving Guatemala’s most vulnerable families.
The joy of watching God work in unexpected ways.
A Gentle Reminder at the Dinner Table
If Thanksgiving conversations turn… interesting (we’re looking at you, Uncle Bob), here’s your exit strategy:
“Actually, did you know the team at God Said Go Missions has visited 89 villages this year? It’s amazing what God is doing.”
Either they’ll be inspired… or they’ll change the subject.
Either way, you win.
From Our Table to Yours
We pray this Thanksgiving fills your heart with peace, your home with laughter, and your plate with more blessings than you can count.
Thank you for being part of this journey of hope.
Thank you for loving people you may never meet this side of heaven.
And thank you for helping us share the love of Jesus in Guatemala — one family at a time.
Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at God Said Go Missions.
