For more than two years, we’ve been praying, searching, and waiting on the Lord to provide the perfect location for our first medical center in Escuintla. The journey has been filled with ups and downs—doors opening and closing, moments of frustration, and many lessons in patience and faith.
But today, we’re thrilled to share the good news: Centro Médico Vida Plena finally has a home!
The Vision
From the beginning, our heart has been to create medical centers that offer affordable, high-quality healthcare in Guatemala’s largest communities. Each center will include:

- A clinic with doctors and nurses ready to serve

- A state-of-the-art laboratory

- A fully stocked pharmacy

- Services offered at reduced prices families can afford
And the best part? The proceeds from each center will fund free mobile clinics in rural villages, bringing healthcare to those living in extreme poverty. It’s a sustainable model that not only provides care today but also ensures that hope and healing will continue for decades to come.
The Journey
This vision hasn’t come easily. We’ve faced setbacks with buildings that didn’t meet safety requirements, landlords who backed out, and locations that put our staff at risk. More than once, we wondered if the dream would ever become reality.
But through every delay, God was teaching us to wait on His timing. And as always, His plan was better than ours.
The Breakthrough
At last, we’ve secured a building located on the grounds of one of the largest churches in Escuintla—right next to a school of more than 600 children. It’s the perfect size for our needs, with room to expand, and even includes a two-bedroom house that we can convert into staff space.
It’s exactly what we prayed for.

What’s Next
Now the real work begins—remodeling, hiring staff, equipping the clinic, pharmacy, and lab, and preparing to open the doors of Centro Médico Vida Plena.
We’ve already raised about half of the funds needed, and we’re moving forward in faith that the remaining $50,000 will come as we take these next steps.
